@rabbinathan I mean it's like everything I believe except with an obvious (but not radical) Palestinian bias... Hummus is NOT Palestinian, it can be! It can be Greek, or Arab, or Israeli, or Jewish, or well a lot of people like hummus and have been doing it their own way for a long time and it predates modern Palestinian identity so it can't be exclusively, primarily, or originally "Palestinian"!

People will side with "Iran" the same way they sided with Hamas, at the cost of the population the government represents. Why? Because Israel is a stand in for Jews, it's a way for them to hate in a way they can feel justified in. If you fit here, you are complicit in murder. You will deny every thing I said though. Because you don't care. Not about me, not about Palestinians, not about Arabs, not about Jews, not about Iranians, you don't care about the middle east and you surely don't care about it's diaspora. You care about how they can make you look, how their suffering can justify the most unpleasant parts about you!

@obtener not an excuse BUT eclipse calculations have been done by civilizations for a good while with pretty accurate predictions. Meanwhile those same civilizations have been much quicker to predict the end of the world with 0% accuracy thus far. What is weird is they are usually much more successful about convincing the general population of their demise. I don't know if the pr problem for global warming is under or over sensationalization... 🤷♂️

@shekinahcancook @keengrasp well there has to be some purity test if we are gonna filter out nazism. Problem is now the left calls the right Nazis and then the right points out nazism coming from the left and when we turn everyone into a Nazi the real ones feel quite comfortable being "woke" andor "patriotic" however they end up defending their hate filled ideaisms... Gotta stop making every one we disagree with enemies and we need to throw out that phrase "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" cause it's turning into modus operandi for too many of my peers, friends, and family. We are all people with a warm heart that loves to make mistakes and confuse our brains!

I have hopes I think I'm gonna start posting to peertube first and then YouTube 2nd as a way to filter in my audience to a more open platform but finding the right peertube instance is gonna be the challenge I thought I found a cool one but plenty of the trending content apart from fediverse stuff was Gaza based antisemitism. Being pro-Palestinian becomes a sham when it's just antisemitism, such a shame. Being pro anything is nonsense if it's really about your hate. If your friendslist are just enemies of your enemies your friends and your views are just full of enemies....

@shekinahcancook @keengrasp peertube has several music focused instances and thanks to federation they can be widely accepted but on the individual instance take advantage of unique monetization. That plus YouTube is the music king, music saved YouTube. And so many podcasts are doing video/audio note with stitcher down and Google podcasts ended I think there is a real place for an innovative enough instance of peertube to rattle a bunch of industries all at once!
