New cover drop! @joeltosi and I are so stoked about the cover for our book coming out from IT Rev in the fall. WOOOT!
Meet my office mates, Ellie (white dog) and Korben (black dog). There’s a backstory to this photo that helps you understand why it warms my heart so. 🧵 #dogsofmastodon
Because @joeltosi asked for pie pictures, here's a pumpkin pie fresh out of the oven. Old family recipe that involves separating the eggs, whipping the egg whites to stiff peaks, then folding them into the pumpkin mixture. The result is more like a pumpkin souffle than traditional pumpkin pie.

OK fediverse, I need your help. This is suuuuuper embarrassing. It involves an incredible gift / honor, but I have foolishly forgotten who gave it to me. I can only hope the giver will forgive me.

Background: many years ago someone was making a deck of trading cards featuring agilists. I was selected to be in the deck. And they gave me a proof of the card face. I treasure the image. But I've forgotten who made it.

Help me find who made the deck and where I can find a copy of the full set?

Heading out to my local coffeeshop to spend time writing. Here's my ultra-portable writing kit. I think it's adorable and I love it...and I've gotten out of the house to write more in the last 2 weeks since I assembled the kit than in the previous many months.

In the bag: planner, index cards, pens, headphones, and iPad with a magic keyboard & pencil.

Why bother to take a whole massive backpack with laptop when an 11" iPad will do?

Found in the depths of my closet: a poster of the ā€œevolution of the internetā€ā€¦from 1995.
I am being aggressively snuggled.
This is definitely the most ridiculous thing I have ever purchased, and I absolutely love it. Coming soon to a background on a Zoom session near you. (I just have to take the time to hang it, and that's not going to happen until this weekend.)
I need someone to talk me out of buying a neon sign with my company logo. It's a thing I don't need that will cost money I should probably spend on something else. But now that I know it's a thing I can have, every fiber of my being wants it.
New laptop. So it's time to say goodbye to my old beloved sticker collection and start a new one. Fortunately I had exactly the right one to start with.
