There's nothing I love more than when a customer makes changes to their network, causing our equipment to no longer notify us of an alarm and then we get yelled at the next day, since their IT guy decided to do that before they go to bed the night before and not tell anyone.

Once that's switched over, figure out how to link it to Skylight instead of having my Bluesky account on it, use that to post clips on top of tiktok cause I'm sure at some point I'll be off of there too.

Probably end up moving this account to a more focused instance. Got my Bluesky account up and running forever ago, finally had some time to make another pass through my old Twitter following list and find everyone I couldn't the first time around. Use this account to post a feed of TT/YT uploads and Twitch stream times maybe?

Though really this is all just me ranting, I'm so far removed from everyday social media interaction, only just starting to "post daily" via F-Zero 99 clips/GPs/etc... so I can't say I've got my finger on the pulse of what's popular on social media anymore. It's also partially to do with a lot of personal things that go beyond the realm of what I'd talk about here.

Maybe I need to spend some more time on here, once I figure out what it is I'm looking for.

(2/...) Sure, it does a WAY better job of curating that discover feed than Threads did (when I was still on Meta, can't speak for it now) and has a decent mix of new and following accounts in it. Though it all feels very hollow, as the other type of post that gets the most engagement (outside of AI & Twitter screenshots) are just low-effort, Facebook-esque posts. They'll pop up in a sea of low-interaction posts like an eyesore. The less/more actions do seem to help out.

Social media has turned to complete shit. It's not social anymore, it's sales media. Bluesky is great in a sense that it's not ALL that one topic on my discover feed, but it seems to be the one that gets the most attention. (1/...)
