Simply complex.: future podcaster/media maniac, mind explorer, life expansionist, and perpetual author to simplified lyrics of a life less extraordinary.

While it is my intention to use [email protected], I have decided to keep my @linuxrocks.online instance account at the ready. It does make it easier to follow the happenings here in Whalebird or other clients. @tootleapp makes it easy to see the linuxrocks.online timeline without logging in. I have a tab for it. Across the #fediverse, we stay connected.

Just want to ensure I can get/keep involved. As the songs go, "Don't You Forget About Me" and "I Remember You".

@ryen I have decided to transition to mastodon.technology after some good input and research. It seems to have the right balance of focus and open as well as the right level of restrictions for me. We are still connected and I plan on keeping my linuxrocks people around via the fediverse. I will probably drop my account on this instance shortly after to keep from overload or overly dividing.
I am still getting organized for the iphone/linux project. The website will be ctrlopenapple.com

@ryen You came here for the same reason I did.

I have trouble dividing myself. Bad wiring in the head, I guess. So the telegram group tends to be too much to follow along with then add everything else and it is overload and I am not connecting. So my telegram time is sporadic and I finding comfort here as I can pick and choose better. i can sift through the noise.

Now that I am past some of my major life issues, I am trying to connect more but in a manageable way.

@architect Switching instances on my clients is trivial too, but unfortunately my mind would be the problem. Something will fallout and I will miss out and then I am back to where I do not want to be -- the victim of my own bad wiring. And I am definitely going to be following my people here on linuxrocks.online., including you. I hope to be hearing from more in time.

@saper

Thanks for chiming in. @danyork was kind enough to give me some input as well.

I will probably have a mastodon or pleroma instance for experimentation purposes on the side as well.

mastodon.social was my first instance but it was during a time when other life issues kept me from getting into it. linuxrocks.online came about through my involvement in the Jupiter Broadcasting community. After input and research, I am going to settle in at mastodon.technology. Nice balance.

@architect Beasties are people too, I think. I have my interest in the arena as well.

After some input and research, I have decided that I am going to try and settle down at mastodon.technology. Seems like a good balance for what I need. I would like to say that I would stick around on this instance too, but I know I cannot divide myself that well. At least we have the fediverse.

@OldTinfoil Yes, Linux does rock and you will get no argument from me. However, in my efforts to revitalize my existence, I do not want to restrict myself too much. So after some great feedback and personal research, I am planning on settling down at mastodon.technology. It seems to offer the right balance for me. My linuxrocks.online might be shuttered only for the fact that I tried not divide myself too much.

Thanks for the input!

@kensanata By the way, interesting the timing of your response as I have just been looking at moku-pona. Nice work and it will definitely get some use from me.
@kensanata Thanks for sharing. mastodon.social was my first but it was during a time when I was extremely divided with life issues so I never got into it. linuxrocks.online came in later and I learned about it through Jupiter Broadcasting. Now I have more time to spend connecting with others so I plan on being more active. After much research, I have decided to just focus on one instance and change to mastodon.technology. Right balance of open focus and restriction for me.
