Is there a name for the vocal technique used for characters like Sméagol?
I notice a common pattern for voicing characters like Sméagol (Lord of the Rings), Stitch (Lilo & Stitch), Mogwai (Gremlins), Jar Jar Binks (Star Wars Ep. 1) the involves falsetto and raising the back of the tongue to the roof of the mouth while talking. Is there a common name for that technique?
How do BIOS updates work for non-Valve devices running SteamOS?
I haven’t found much discussion around this topic, so if anyone has links to existing articles or posts I’d appreciate it! Are there any concerns with the BIOS getting out-of-date if running SteamOS on a device that comes with Windows installed by default? A Lenovo support page [https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds565491-bios-update-for-windows-11-64-bit-legion-go-8apu1], for example, specifies that the version is for devices running Windows. If you want to update the BIOS, do you have to reinstall Windows first? Any info here would be a big help.
