@44 "using ur own DNS with DoH or DoT enabled"
I have 2 things.
A hidden primary which also resolves for localhost but denies public.
A pihole at home sourcing, yup Google and Cloudflare and providing the custom dns resolution for the local machines dot <familiyname>.
Definitely not using my ISP's dns.
But on the Android phone...
I got nothing.
And since Google doesn't allow /etc/hosts editing without root, and no way to set a custom dns, except DoH, and idk... I could probably configure pihole, open a port in my router, although... it requires :443 right? That's already taken...
and no, I have no way to do SNI.
Open resolver with DoH on the hidden primary is not a good idea.
So yeah...
I know a way... I could do tailscale.
Listen on a tailscale IP but for this the tailscale client would need to always be active on the smartphone
