@gemelen @fncll @tea Ah, ok, thank you for the tip. I did not rinse in the past, but now I have gotten used to it. Maybe I will come back to not rinsing following your advice; I feel the same as Chris regarding the ‘weird taste’ 😃
@gemelen @tea Do you rinse it to wake it up? If so, how many times? Lose red I normally rinse once, but I am curious as how this one behaves. Thanks!

[Spring '22, YS].

I'd say it's too frail tea brewing-wise - I didn't expect that one brewed at 97C for 15s is already on a brink of astringency. Going for lower temperatures is strongly recommended.

Dry leaves smell as a usual baked goods. Empty GongDaoBei gives sweety aroma.

@tfb @puerh @babelcarp @tea @dave_heumann Lovely stuff; thank you all 😃 👍 Weekend is coming, so please do enjoy it!
@dave_heumann @puerh @babelcarp @tfb @tea Thank you Dave; this is really helpful and mostly what I look for in a provider. I always buy organic, but with Chinese providers this is not always easy to check. Have a lovely cuppa! 🍵
@puerh @babelcarp @tfb @tea Hi, I am always wary of buying directly to China because of health and environmental issues regarding chemicals in the tea. Do you have any thoughts on this? Just some quick tip; would not want to bother you to write a whole book 🙂
@ShaulaEvans @Paulnuk Yes, that’s wonderful! The cycle of the sun in the tea leaves... 🌞
@mbbl @tea Oh, beautiful! Thanks for sharing 🍵
@tfb @TerryBernstein @tea Agree with both of you. #Greentea should be steeped with care and the water should not be too hot, but hey, give me a strong #blacktea any time... 😆 #Builderstea in the morning is the best for me.
@ShaulaEvans @tea Yes, I agree that #greentea is the tricky one... 😉
