A physician asked me who carries the liability when a pharmacist assesses and prescribes. Take the job, he said, take the weight. He wasn't wrong. But a diagnosis takes time, and the person at my counter needs an answer tonight. On deciding when certainty can't come fast enough.

On being allowed, being ready, and the room we still get to build.
I spent 30 minutes looking for the inpatient pharmacy in one of Toronto's biggest hospitals. No signs. Nobody knew where it was.
Two days earlier, pharmacists were presenting brilliant work at a national conference. Same week. Same question.
Why are we hiding? ⚡
#Canada is building big. Energy. Defence. Housing. But there's a gap in that vision: Pharmaceutical sovereignty isn't just a supply chain argument. It's a national security one. And
#pharmacists, who live this vulnerability daily, should be at the table.
Build big. Build now. Build all of it. ⚡
Ontario just expanded pharmacy scope again. But the harder expansion isn't happening in a government announcement. It's happening inside the profession—one pharmacist at a time.
Are we growing into the room? ⚡
The gap between what pharmacy should be and what it is is real. But once you've seen clinical care work—once you've changed someone's life—you can't wait for perfect systems to do it again.
The work happens now. One person better, one day at a time. ⚡
