biweekly means you are attracted to your own week and also one or more other weeks

Reminder that it's really hard to get hired in October, November, and December. So if you've been job seeking and have gotten very little traction the past few months, know that it's not you. Don't give up hope!

* Hiring teams have the fewest open roles left at year's end

* It's tough to put interview schedules together because everyone is on vacation

* Even with the interviews, it's tough to schedule the debrief + hiring committee + offer review

Etc

@js "I don't get fashion" sir you can tell Caterpillar yellow from DeWalt yellow from the far side of the job site and you have opinions about them, please get yourself a fitted shirt, try on something purple, ease into it. "I can't really do math" my girl you bake and you have strong opinions about tile floors, that is the starter kit right there, please go play with some prime numbers and graph paper, see how it feels. "I don't get computers" ma'am if you knit, you're already overqualified.
I wish Baldur’s Gate 3 would come out for Mac already so I could spend some hours making a character.

US friends:

I don't want to hear any of you ever say that African countries have corrupt elections again.

Ever!

You hear me? That's over for y'all now.

And this dude is still the GOP front runner! By a long shot! Like, it's not even close! A lot of y'all are like "This is fine!"

And I don't want to hear "Oh no! We're like a 3rd world country now!" That's that mess I often hear after the US has acted exactly like the US. We're not "like a 3rd world country." We're like ourselves.

@[email protected] AuDHD here - I dig working in a coffee shop every now and then. It’s the body doubling, getting stuff done vibe, and new setting making my ADHD happy, along with a generally clean and cozy environment making the autistic side happy.
Twitter learned, and Reddit is fast learning, that people are not addicted to the platform, they’re addicted to the community they found there. Ruin the community, and people will leave the platform. It really is that simple.
But seriously this product could be useful for folks with ADHD where you can literally tune out all visual distractions
