If that were the reason, why don’t they just force their users to verify their identities?

Probably realize that a non-trivial percentage of their userbase values not verifying their identity to facebook than they value being on facebook. They’d rather someone else be the bad guy, if they can do it while still reaping the benefits.

This was my first thought. I hadn’t bothered installing it in a while, then one day that fucking copilot icon appeared, and back I went. There’s something to be said for a tool that does the thing it needs to do well and only that.
That’s a shame, because it was really great for a hot minute.
ROCK. AND. STOOOONE.
Totally fair. Feel free to downvote away if it makes you feel better; I get paid the same either way.
What’s strange to me is that it’s still working. I’m pretty sure if djt started his next speech with “Just to clear the air, yes I fucked some kids, but only the hot ones,” exactly zero people would be surprised and 20-30% of US voters would argue it’s the kids’ fault for being so hot.
I did this with Rimworld. Started a few months ago, approaching 400 hours, and I was totally correct.

Or projection.

It’s an inclusive or though, so I wouldn’t bet against noem being a a cannibal at this point.

There’s a Waffle House down the road, as well as a McD’s and Bojangles across the street. The Glock being in an unlocked glove box with a 4-year-old in the passenger seat is just one in a series of horrible judgement calls.

His statement read like a generic one, so it likely includes all US user data (e.g., configs for their smart switches, videos from their cameras, support cases/interactions, and all sorts of other non-router related stuff).
