It's been a month since @swiftconfto happened. But it's never too late to write an appreciation post.

Thank you to all the organizers for the work they have done. All we see are two awesome conference days. But there's months that go into planning! I'm sad to see another conference closing, especially in a city as big as Toronto with a lot of big companies having offices here.

We got some feedback that Aug 11 talks had multi-channel audio issues for people using non-default audio setups (eg listening with 1 AirPod in the case). It’s being fixed and the Aug 11 talks will all be updated within a day. Default audio setups should be fine in the meantime.

@flargh @davedelong this was hard to talk about. Felt a bit like “biting the hand that feeds” and all, but I talked to many people and it’s a thing Apple does do. I think we need to talk about it in the open.

Friday talks edited and rendering.

Content delivery process had a couple of hiccups. We are investigating whether better audio can be recovered for the Thursday talks also and they will be re-uploaded if there’s anything we can do 👍
