If you need privacy services those do exist, but social media platforms are not it.

@tikli oh wow, really?? I feel like the tags open up the wider 'verse a lot, if you only have access to direct follows or the server you're in, that's a bit limiting 😱 good feature to implement!

@AntimonySchnuck mmm yeah I'm not sure I wanna do that yet. one of the apps did have a nice Reddit-like ability to switch between accounts. But if I DO, I'd probably have separately accounts. The fact that posts don't get transferred as well is a bit. not sure how I feel about that, so I gotta make up my mind before I get in too deep on this handle

I do wish that there was a way to hide hashtags from the main message, it's nice that they're shoved under the main message on tumblr. I feel a bit like I'm trying to sell something when I put them in the main body of the message 😅

apparently there's a paid android app that lets me do this..... it's like 4 bucks, I might try it out
