Ted Simon was in his early 40’s when he set out on that Triumph in 1973. Reading it now in my early 40s, in another country, another century, I can relate so much to his outlook, especially when he talks about his personal (inner) journey.
R&I seem to be in two separate tracks running parallel. No common interests (not a new factor) to spend meaningful time together. Problem is that we don’t really have anyone else, and I wonder if we too are drifting apart.
