@GregArcus @popehat I think so? I don't know how the whole "we block and are blocked by other servers" aspect of this affects that. I don't think it does but I can't be 100% certain. Plus, they might simply suspend users who forward to an account on a different server they don't like.

@popehat you don't *really* move Mastodon servers. You create a new account, and set up a redirect that basically keeps your existing followers but makes your previous posts hard to find.

That's it. Set up a new account, set up a redirect (like with email in the old days), and you're done.
