Spent the day messing around with raylib. Pretty impressive. It will load and display the 3d models from @kenney.
Kai Budde has been one of the greatest #MtG players since forever. He and John Finkel had one of the best rivalries ever.
He might be gone, but he'll not be forgotten. Thanks German Juggernaut for being with us! https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/remembering-kai-budde
Remembering Kai Budde

The Magic: The Gathering world lost one of its greatest players with the recent passing of Kai Budde.

Toot inspired by the Vibe Coding humble bundle.

I thought Silksong was hard, but then I saw The Great Tower of Stephen’s Sausage Roll 👀
Really good video about the realities of programming for video games. What being "smart" actually means, and how to approach the inevitable chaos of a game too big to fit in any single person's head:

Cheers to anybody here doing Advent of Code! I'm on holidays this December and I was thinking on joining, but I think I'll chill this year again 🎄

Vim has always been charityware. Any money that was donated to the project went to ICCF Holand, an organization that helps marginalized children in Uganda.

Sadly, 2 years after Bram's passing, this charity will be dissolved. Future donations will be sent to a different charity called Kuwasha: https://groups.google.com/g/vim_announce/c/pUNbNXBLbKw

Bram's work over the years has done much good for disadvantaged communities. Whether you use Vim or Neovim, consider following their original creator's example in whatever way you can.

An update from the Vim charity ICCF

Just came back yesterday from #netrunner Worlds 2025 and a week of holidays in Edinburgh. It was a super fun weekend of meeting people and then a week of seeing the city, enjoying the restaurant recommendations and visiting some former coworkers. Achieved my objective of making it to top half, so it’s a great way of retiring my Chiquito playmat.
I made a joke to a friend whose birthday is today and then jumped to the obvious rabbit hole on "how much 30 pieces of silver are worth today?".

I was this weekend playing in the #netrunner EMEA Continentals (110 people championship) and managed to squeeze into the top half prizing bubble. Without having practiced much this season I’m quite happy with my performance. My corp deck is a bit inconsistent and it’s rather difficult to land kills on the high tables.

It was an incredibly good experience to come here, all opponents were super nice and even the most clutch games felt very casual. This community goes to eleven.
