It’s official. Charles Martinet is now officially retiring from voicing Mario.

He’s been doing this for about three decades so this is something that was bound to happen.

Charles Martinet will always have my gratitude and respect for playing a role for many many years of a franchise that I’ve held near and dear to my heart since I was two years old: The Mario franchise.

Even when the character was unable to talk, the actor with his facial expressions alone (and 🛎️) conveys him very well.
