I have just abandoned Twitter/X , the online hatred is unbearable ,the lies , distortion of facts and Media corruption all to promote division and chaos is insufferable .

There is a huge disconnect between the Government and the people of the UK but more importantly between Sunak and his MP's. The constant "We Follow the Will of the People' from the likes of Braverman and other ministers on the daily press round doesn't bode well with Tory constituencies who know first hand that many current policies are hurting the country both socially and economically. Sewage, Schools, immigration, borders,
all solvable but Sunak doesn't seem interested in trying.

Starmer knows 'Rejoining' the EU is a misnomer , We would have to re-apply for membership including acceptance of Schengen/Euro.
The first term of a new Gov; will be taken up by sorting the Economy , NHS, the divisions in the UK's society and the myriad other problems that will arise.
An accord with the EU over alignment of standards and an easing of the border situation would be good but long term EEA entry ( Norway,Iceland,Lichtenstein)would be a good compromise
