A little User.find(1).confirm goes a long way
I tested mailgun with curl on the command line and it worked (though it is API and not SMTP like Mastodon would use). Now to brute force my way past email validation using the rails console. Wheeee
@listrophy Any advice on getting this thing to send emails? I tried the exim route but namecheap DNS doesn't do PTR so.. next I tried mailgun, and everything is green light on their end, but I don't get any emails sent, no error messages I can find :/
Has anyone been able to get a new instance running? I've got everything but email running, but that's kind of a showstopper. Mailgun account is set up, configs are populated, recipient address is whitelisted, but no confirmation email and nothing in the log
