I really hate the #windows Calibri font. Such terrible kerning. If I had a nickel for every time I thought there were two spaces between words...
@Ghosty @architect @seasharp @wheeler @AmericanIdiot @Jasper_Ben Thanks for the tip. I think I found a good solution. The blog post from @architect and setting up PowerTop to autotune seemed to do the trick.
@architect, heard you on the AskNoah Show talking about the Pinebook. Have you tried installing Arch in it?
@architect @seasharp @Ghosty @wheeler @AmericanIdiot @Jasper_Ben another update on my battery life. I am testing my battery life today. I started at 90% full (my battery no longer goes above that). I've been going for 2 hours now (119 minutes to be exact) and I'm only down to 38%. PowerTOP says I'm discharging the battery at ~23 W and it says I have 1:31 left. I have been keeping the brightness relatively low, but I've been using it outside. This is the best it's been since I switched to Arch.

@architect @seasharp @Ghosty @wheeler @AmericanIdiot @Jasper_Ben an update on my battery life status. I haven't had a great opportunity to test it yet, but I did what you suggested and powertop went from ~40W power consumption to ~20W and it says that I will be getting ~4 hrs rather than ~2 which is much better. I'll keep you all updated on how it goes.
If Trump does build his wall, we should paint flames on it. It'll be the great firewall!
@seasharp so, I identified the issue. My integrated Intel GPU is not detected by Linux. It is shown in System Information on macOS, but nothing in Linux.
@seasharp I'm using the proprietary Nvidia drivers. I tried using bumblebee, but when I install it, X fails to start.
