Randomly recalling how in highschool I legit made my own longsword out of steel and it was heckin awesome... only to have my parents throw it out later and act like they didn't know what happened to it (and then let slip later that they did actually know what happened to it lol)
Like come on parents. You don't just go like, "let's secretly toss out that thing our son spent a month working on because we don't like it." Looking back my folks were really not the best in some regards...
