It took me 1540 days to complete Spanish course on the green owl app, and I didn’t even get a congratulatory animation in the end. What a shame!
On another note apparently I have great veins according to the nurse who was drawing blood from me this morning. Should I share this on LinkedIn?
I’ve been trying to figure out where did all the space on my NAS go until I found out that Windows does not delete old backups automatically 🤦 The only way to do this is to do it one-by-one manually, with the backup tool freezing for a minute after each backup is deleted.

I’m reading the Wiki article about Kraftwerk after yesterday’s show:

“After the physically demanding Computer World tour, Ralf Hütter had been looking for forms of exercise that fitted in with the image of Kraftwerk; subsequently he encouraged the group to become vegetarians and take up cycling”

Ralf was in his late 30s back then. I guess this had very little to do with the tour 😅

@b0rk yes please!
You‘ll need to make sure that Shortcuts have permission to access your location. Pro tip is to use it via Siri or set as an action on double or triple tap on the back of the phone.
For years I was wondering why none of the navigation apps have a function to save your current location without asking any further questions. This would be very handy when you drive by something interesting and can’t stop for some reason. So I came up with an Apple Shortcut that does exactly this: it grabs your current coordinates, makes them into a Google Maps link and adds it to a note with current date and time. Ah, yes yes, streaming services. “Come, listen to this album” they said.
Wife got me one of these labubus, hopefully the original one. Cat in the background is for scale. #CatsOfMastodon
Apple is evil yadda-yadda, but I was quite impressed today when I used my screen connected to a Mac Mini for my MBP, while using iPhone as a camera – all this without messing with cables, configs, etc.
