For now Firefox derivatives are fine (I use LibreWolf), but many of those derivatives don’t work on macOS because it “fails to verify that this executable is actually executable” (what does that actually mean???)
Not sure if this is what you’re experiencing, but it’s a common thing. Happens to me too, I have to run a command after I update from Homebrew.
LibreWolf FAQ: why is LibreWolf marked as broken?
It is possible that Apple Silicon users see their recently downloaded LibreWolf flagged as broken or unsafe by the OS.
This happens because we do not notarize the macOS version of the browser: we don’t have a paid Apple Developer license and we don’t want to support this signing mechanism that is put behind a paywall without providing significant gains.
You can remove the quarantine attribute from the Application using this command:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LibreWolf.appSame as the cardinality of all reals. In fact, the cardinality of the set of all reals between 0 and 1 is the same as the cardinality of the set of all reals. en.wikipedia.org/…/Cardinality_of_the_continuum#S…
Glad you made me look though, I hadn’t thought about whether there were sets with cardinality greater than the cardinality of the continuum.
Love that movie too. It’s really unfortunate since the nature v. nurture aspects seems reasonable. They could have just left the IQs out and it would be just as funny.
I try not to think about the eugenics angle, and just look at it as “imagine anti-intellectualism, anti-education, and hyper-consumerism to an absurd degree. lol that would never happen amirite?”
Sigh.
Depends on the crowd. I did this once because I was just so excited to see it (any Mountain Goats, really) available.
The crowd absolutely loved it. People at the front row singing along, having a great time. A guy thanked after. Surreal.
Must have been a bunch of Moral Orel fans, I guess? Or, I suppose after people butchering Bohemian Rhapsody all night, this was the palate cleanser. Who knows.
