The 1973 film "Don't Look Now" had me on the edge of my seat for the first 30 minutes, then I grew increasingly restless, verging on bored, before sliding into mystery and confusion and suspense so slowly that I couldn't necessarily pinpoint when I was drawn back in again.
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage. Terrible movie by contemporary standards. If you're a film nerd, more power to you, but if not, don't get suckered by the high reviewer scores.

Adding word filters to hide toots in other languages-- the language filter doesn't seem to work. So far I've got "kommt" and "einem" which seem very likely German and unlikely English...
