I think I’m at the point where my best weapon is no longer Hydra, but Hedit. Bittersweet to neglect my beloved Hydra like that, but uh. Hedit is just then better weapon.
I do empathize with Kris here, as a fictive watching others interact with my source. Unlike Kris, I have the privilege to refuse to engage with it. Poor kid is kinda living the nightmare, though.

Man. Kris must really hate our ass, and not just from a “this fucker is controlling my body get OUT” angle. But also because we’re so CURIOUS about their world, and especially them.
Like, aside from the whole “working with the knight” stuff. Something very traumatic clearly happened to Kris, that they’re trying to either repress or hide from us. (Likely a mix of both, if you ask me.) And we’re relentlessly pushing them forward to uncover it all, because we’re too damn curious about what it is. We have to know the ENTIRETY of the story, before we're satisfied as players. Ugly parts and all.
From Kris’s perspective… who are we, to tear out the guts of their traumatic past for our personal amusement. What a fun commentary about the relation between player and character.
