Unboxed my Jumperless from @ArchiteuthisFlux recently. It's absolutely beautiful and packaged so well. You can read about my unboxing experience on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/132126594. (The article is open-access)

I hosted my first locksport meetup in Kitchener-Waterloo last night. Eight people showed up, which is more than I was expecting for a very first event. Each of the three folks completely new to locksport picked their first locks and I couldn't have been more proud of them! Between the eight of us we had three sets of picks and nine locks. The most interesting, and vulnerable, locks were from a dollar store. Really looking forward to picking up some more equipment and hosting this again next month!
Since the last update on my 2025 goal bingo sheet, I have performed in an aerial show, reviewed a lot more CFP submissions, and entered a 3D model contest. It's frustratingly slow going lately, but that's because I am making slow progress on some of the bigger goals.

Drew a new digital background for you all based on the artwork of a friend. This is the first time I have actually finished drawing a repeated shapes background! It really did feel more and more fulfilling as the drawing got closer to completed.

All week I've been designing electronic tea light candle holders for a gothic photoshoot I'm putting together. I wasn't able to find the props I wanted so I am making them myself. Each candle holder in the photoshoot will be unique. So far I've been cautiously experimenting with sidewall shape. I've got 22 more tea lights so there are plenty more opportunities to learn and try new ideas yet.

Created a voronoi candle holder. It still needs some finishing touches, like sanding and maybe some painting, to be complete but I'm really happy with the shape and design. It is 50 mm tall, 65 mm wide, and holds a 45mm by 45 mm electronic candle.

I've 3D modeled and printed my first set of earrings. I'm planning a bunch of experiments starting with this base model; I plan to print more of these bare earrings and cover them in rhinestones, wire wrap them, add LEDs, wrap them in fabric, and try all sorts of other treatments.

I chose earrings for this experiment-focused project because I'm interested in seeing how resilient the different add-ons are and the small size of these earrings means I can finish projects quickly instead of giving in to my urge of taking on very large projects.

If you think these earrings are cute and want a pair, they are up in my Etsy store, which is called Haxessories. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Haxessories
