Anyone have experience using the mastodon API? I’m seriously looking at making my own personal fedi server, hoping it to be slightly lighter weight than just a single user masto instance. Right now I think I’ll be cribbing a bit from pixelfed.

@kellan I was only there for a year, and have a rather substantial amount of RSUs. I would imagine longer tenured folks have much larger amounts. Defaulting on those would be a huge blow to their image, if not lead to losing valuable staff.
@kellan hell yes to this. This summer I had a bunch of Twitter randos try to argue with me that it wasn’t possible to build dynamic sites before react.
@urbandata the 116 includes both, and a good chunk of that was actually at the tail end of skull man alongside the rail yards and not in the shopping district.
@urbandata clarification: skillman already had an unprotected lane. The switch to protected also included daylighting pedestrian crossings, which removed 3-4 spots per block. The opposite direction 39th Ave had the same change.
@kellan I feel like a lot of modern business practice comes down to GAAP nonsense.
@demarko travel nurses get paid way more than regular - I have a friend who “traveled” to what would be her local hospital for much much more than she would be paid as staff.
