Herr AckerbauHilarious time with old friends at Improv4Humans, great to see Matt Besser and Brett Morris as well as Brian Huskey (who seems to have been on every comedy i watched in the 2010s?) and Ali Ghandour - Really it feels like Improv4Humans is the SNL for indie musicians.
Also, half the new record is about my time as a poor graduate student in Philosophy - and the cratering market for humanities professor jobs - which i talk about at some length. And then comedy is made out of that!

More and more as I bake I am realizing that many procedures that bakers provide in recipes are not in fact silly superstitions the result of decades of old wives tales being handed down unreliably from an archaic generation of luddites past - which is how many cooks are prone to view baking - but rather the result of a lot of precise trial and error and empirical testing from what are, for all intents and purposes, gourmet scientists.
