I just found out that in the Lord of the Rings videogame "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" they made Shelob the giant ugly spider into a pretty goth lady.
Me every time I pick up my phone only to see a Linked In notification about how somebody made a post.
Was talking to a friend about Russia, and mentioned missing the days when Putin was all about zany photo ops where he'd help birds migrate or search for deep sea treasure.
He's well read but had no idea what I was talking about, and I thought... did I imagine it all? Did a bad acid trip or something implant a fake memory in my brain?
So I looked it up and - yeah, it's true! Putin used to be trying to be the next Dos Equis spokesperson. I miss those times.
I walked the dogs, logged in on my Apple Watch, then forgot to turn it off before I got in my car and drove four miles. This is brilliant data.
