Remember "don't print this email" in signatures that was a bit cringe? It doesn't feel that cringe anymore in retrospect. I'm doing an experiment now with this new email signature :D Anyone doing something similar? Could it catch on?

edit: BTW please absolutely steal/modify this idea if you want!

I wrote a three-month review of my new baby. https://joshcollinsworth.com/blog/baby-review
My review of the Nüborn Baby at 3 months

My Nüborn Baby arrived in October, and now that I've had a few months to get used to it, I thought I'd write up a review, in case you were thinking of getting one for yourself.

I offer Cassandra's Complete Class Theorem¹.

All "good use cases for AI" break down into one of four categories:

I. Bad use case.
II. Good use case, but not something AI can do.
III. Good use case, but it's already been done without AI.
IV. Not AI in the LLMs and GANs sense, but in the sense of machine learning, statistical inference, or other similarly valid things AI boosters use to shield from critique.

How's the mobile CPU landscape evolving? Thanks to process node improvements, a mid-range Android from 2025 is (finally!) as fast as 2017's iPhone 8, but a low-end (~$100) smartphone isn't yet as speedy as a decade-old iPhone 6s.

The URL is so overpowered and so often under-utilised. This article does a great job of explaining how much power you really have.

I saw this article about a new Mac featured called "Edge Light" that literally puts a fake white ring light around your screen. It's kinda insane and genius. So I vibed it for Windows. https://github.com/shanselman/WindowsEdgeLight get it from Releases, unzip and run the single .NET 10 exe. Will autoupdate also.

Let’s talk about AI art.
