I like to develop and break embedded things🐧

@mmu_man Pretty sure it's an LCD. So maybe the backlight is broken?
@maehw Thanks! I used some random tool, I don't remember the name. Since the software is Windows-only, I was working in a VM anyway so I didn't care that much what I was installing. I tried a few options from a few sketchy sites until I found one that worked. Pretty sure it was a free trial of a paid tool.

Reverse-engineering a custom USB HID protocol, bypassing microcontroller readout protection, and hacking firmware with a hex editor:

I love discovering personal blogs and websites.

No algorithm.
No competing anything.

Just a person, putting out what they want.

It's beautiful.

After hours of debugging I figured out that I accidentally ordered GD32F350R8T6 instead of GD32F350RBT6, with the latter having twice as much flash memory. Explains why the firmware doesn't fit.
@ant0inet challenge accepted

Review of a failed vulnerability disclosure process:

"The whole point of VDP, security.txt, bug bounty, etc., is to make the process of reporting vulnerabilities as smooth as possible and the main focus should remain on removing roadblocks for legitimate reports."

DOOM on the ANKER Prime Charging station😅

The internal SWM34S MCU is just way too nice!
8MB RAM + 16MB Flash directly mapped to memory goes brrrr
