@Free_Press portal. Walt's coming back to kick Bob's ass.
@jeffjarvis lol, should make for a good 3-day rant.
@Nonilex why release the emails just before Grijalva is sworn in? doesn't that risk more stalling? i mean, it would be a bad look for Johnson but based on past performance he doesn't seem particularly conflicted over his moral aesthetic.
@Jplonie lol, the call center at my local internet provider hallucinates dates all the time. No AI required.
@mcnado ya, it’s been rolled out but nerfed with limited functionality. Devious in the sense that users can unwittingly assume it’s safe for sensitive data in advance of your organization’s issuance of an acceptable use policy. Ask the bot if it can summarize your email conversations for the past week. If it says something like “sure, just paste an archive of your inbox into the chat” then it has no direct access to internal data.
@mcnado this would be very bad if the admins set it up this way, but requires a subscription and explicit activation, and it’s not cheap. The OOTB behaviour does not have direct access to inboxes, SharePoint sites etc. The default is a generic chat window, although anyone could still cut and paste anything they want into it. We considered it, but the feds up here have not cleared it for sensitive data yet.
@Okuna @SecurityWriter I agree, garbage in garbage out. Cloud will happily let your bad devs and architects create untenable solutions at scale. That’s on the CSPs marketing dept and your gullible execs. Cloud is just another tool, indifferent to the user’s incompetence. I’m more freaked out about the geopolitical implications for data sovereignty.
@aesthr also helpful if you can no longer use MFA because you left yr phone on the roof of the car and drove to work. twice.
