Are you calling for eliminating distinction between men and women? Just one soccer team, with the best men and best women all together?

For some sports it does make sense, like billiards or chess, but for most sports it doesn't. Some sports also have weight categories, like martial arts.

A solution would be to draw the line on each sport according to what makes sense in that sport. Sometimes there will be no gender distinction, sometimes there will be weight, testosterone level, height, whatever make sense for each sport.

I've been living in US for 20 years, I was born in a country without jury, and I still have the feeling that it is an institution that only made sense in the middle ages.

Last month I read an article about a journalist being shoplifted in Qatar, they got the thief and asked the robbed how she wished they punished him

The tone of the article was kind of "we American are superior, our laws make these decisions, we don't leave it to the robbed"

My feeling was kind of "listen to these Americans, they still have juries and capital punishment and they still feel entitled to judge the Qatari legal system"

So my answer to your question is "leaving any freedom of judgement to a jury is a stone age practice, they shouldn't change the rule of law, they shouldn't even have a say on anything, they shouldn't exist"
