@paulg Because some people have poor intentions and some people's base of power is entirely centered on deception. Elon is an elevated con man, most of his ideas require to either scam the govt (Tesla depends on government subsidy and is worth more than Ford), be deceptive (Tesla is a carbon credit company), or sell snake oil (The Boring Company)

Our connection between greatness and wealth is perverse and Elon is a needy pervert.
