@mjf_pro in addition (and correct me if im wrong) moderation is up to individual instance owners. so if we have a mastodon instance which seems to be going the way of 4chan, i can just mute all its users in one fell swoop.
Mastodon may turn out to be an unmoderated hellscape too, but at least my participation isn't lining the pockets of a shitposting incel billionaire 🤷♂️
