I was going to make a joke that the vibe on the other site is giving this energy, but am also wondering/worried what the equivalent of Ginsberg presenting his severed nipple to Peggy is going to be.

There’s a version of this recipe that says something like, “You can’t hope to replicate this recipe at home, not in Piedmont” and I’m like, there will be no negging from internet recipes today, not in this economy.
This Lidia recipe calls for a 5 lb roast and 2 bottles of Barolo to serve 6 people and I had to ask Steve who was president in 2007 because this feels wildly decadent.
