@rbreich I have asked an acquaintance who wants to own multiple automatic weapons, “Who do you plan to shoot first? That is all they are good for, so who goes first?” She thought I was kidding and replied, “I just want to have them because I like guns.” If we can accepted 20 dead 5 year olds as the cost of gun freedom there will never be a way to control them.

@rbreich "When the Second Amendment was ratified, women were not permitted to vote, people were allowed to own other people, and firearms had to be reloaded after each shot. However, things have changed, and the Constitution should be changed to meet the needs of the 21st century. Or, to quote Thomas Jefferson:
