@dreadfulsanity science encourages being wrong and learning new things... It's inconvenient to their rugged individualism and authoritarian streak. :P all the more reason we should lean into it!

@dreadfulsanity true... politicians convince themselves they're the voice of the "oppressed", while the other rich just convince themselves that they're dealing with "haters" (and thus further proving they are right)... <.<;

@dreadfulsanity the more money you have, the less you're encouraged to "stay silent"... He's got too much money for anyone to honestly tell him he's sticking his foot in his mouth.
@dreadfulsanity his shows, I find to be reasonable... but he keeps commenting on shit outside of his "expertise" and being a total airhead about that subject. If I was to be talking to him, I'd say "I'm not angry, I'm just REALLY disappointed", before turning and walking the *f* away... because I refuse to associate with that BS.
