Hello all, #firstpost here. No idea how to work this crazy thing (I know I’m not the only n00b walking in and saying so). But hey, I’m a #comics creator turned prose writer person (she/her/chan). I’m currently working on adapting my graphic novel series #TheGodMachine into a #yanovel series. I’ve been in the comics/illustration industry since the mid 00s. Sadly, in early 2024 I further injured in my wrists, making it impossible to continue my career in the arts world as a sustainable means of income. Through self introspection, and determination to do something creative, I am becoming something I feared I could not be: a writer. Imposter syndrome used to color my world when it came to writing. I always thought I was an artist who happened to write their own comics, but surely I was no good at that. I’ve dusted off that negative voice and I’m embracing a new me as I continue to tell my stories. There’s much more to tell, but I thought I’d get the pout out. Haha.
