But the bird app has been swamped with MAGA Republicans determined to drive away progressives with false narratives and ad hominem attack. A dispiriting display of the human condition and a waste of time. Alas.

We can’t minimize Trump’s dinner with antisemite and holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and the refusal of leading Republicans to speak out against this. While none of this is surprising, it’s the latest sign that if Trump is not held criminally accountable and ends up as the GOP candidate, he will drive America to the bottom and seek vengeance against all enemies, real and imagined. Silence is complicity.
