How to forcefully burn in subtitles, always? - Lemmy.World

In Libreelec I am using Jellyfin for Kodi. I have enabled force transcoding. I would like the subtitles in Jellyfin to be burned into the video with no exceptions. There’s an option to disable subtitle extraction on the fly but this doesn’t burn in the subtitles

N100 Media Serving Efficiency with Quick Sync - Lemmy.World

In my quest to optimize media serving capabilities, one feature that stood out for testing was Quick Sync, particularly its hardware acceleration potential. I embarked on a comparison between Jellyfin and Emby, evaluating the efficacy of Quick Sync and its impact on system performance. Read more on the article.

How can I migrate my microSD card install of OMV to an SSD? - Lemmy.world

I have installed OpenMediaVault and a bunch of Docker services. Is it possible to clone everything on my microSD, and put it in my SSD, and then boot from the SSD as if nothing changed? I’m asking because microSD cards don’t last long.

Here’s mine:

I’ve been using Bash scripts with cronjobs to schedule daily backups, and then sync the backup to BackblazeB2 after the local backup has completed.
