@lindsays what alternative distribution format would be satisfactory? Is it possible to package the software that way?
@swashberry @sean Having ok luck finding weirdos on OkCupid - you can skip the shallow self-advertising bit and just fly your freak flag in a (super) longform profile post. That and using the question search to specifically target the out-there questions, answer them, and rate them important. Then the “answer matches” thing kicks on; weirdo magnet. Or read this nerdcore guide (game theory + GSheets) https://putanumonit.com/2016/02/03/015-dating_1/

@Mayana Fair enough. Reasonable expectations on how much better "much better" is make sense. But also I'm curious how you went finding people to follow? I found you in a list of people to follow - so far that seems to be working.
@cat yes!! Why? Shutting off 50% of sources of insight in favor of generating tribality points is dumb. Like, cro-magnitudally dumb.
@dlovell ugh. dorcmeat is cleverer
@dlovell can you cite an example?
@dlovell yup. My theory is we are in the “teenage years” of internet culture, so to speak. And this victimization fad will dissipate like any other fashion as we collectively age out of indulging in it and age into working better at building mutual understanding at internet scale
@threeofswords least adorable aspect of my kitten, so - yes
@dlovell Elevating the importance placed one’s own innate agency. Not quite https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoicism but bearing similarity
@emacsen heck if I know. Something something we need to save our country? Wasn’t there
