Hi everyone, I'm an IT-guy by day, serial hobbyist, trying to keep things mostly happy, but have some hot button topics. But hey guys let's keep on smiling :)

Tell me you are not good at using standard unix text tools (less, grep, awk sed) without telling me that you're bad at it..

Is it wrong of me to really miss the old times, when PCs were simpler, not everything was a web-app, and developers actually cared about writing performant systems :)

Walking commute is always nice, even got some colour over the summer.
There is no website in the world which needs ONE THOUSAND cookies!
How did we get into this mess?

Yey, I made it, that feels good, got all of the 50 stars now :D

The last task was writing a Turing machine, and the statemachine was really easy to write, I basically just wrote down the rules 1:1 with the Nim syntax and the thing worked :)

So now trying out my second fediverse alternative to #mastodon since #firefish wasn't really to my taste, gotosocial is really nice :D Fast and snappy, has basically what I need, and not so much fluff, I think when it gets more stable and get there I think it's what I will move to :D
