If you're a metal fan, or even if you're not, you should check out Wintersuns new album Time II (yes, it's finally out.) It is simply incredible and we're even debating if it surpasses Time I, which was our previous favourite album ever. Every song is amazing, especially Silver Leaves and Storm, even the instrumental tracks are wonderful. For a quick summary, it is simply the most epic melodic death metal you'll find, with tons and tons of instruments all layered together, with guitars sweeping and squeling in a wall of sound that just leaves you breathless. There's a reason that Wintersun has spawned multiple bands trying to emulate the same sound, but in our experience, none of them really manage to catch that same epic sound. Seriously you should check out Time II (and Time I, and maybe the self titled album too.)
