New release by @sophiatypelove, Hetskelet, combines flared forms with an inline sans, creating a typeface where tilted curves dance with humanist strokes. A dance between the body and bones, between flesh and skeleton.
Hetskelet combines a flared body with a sans inline and explores new shapes grown from an interaction between a bulbous tilted axis and a humanist upright one. This is a dance between the body and the bones, between the flesh and the skeleton. This is Hetskelet.
Fontathon is back again! Mark your calendars for 3–4 February 2024 for a fun weekend of non-stop type and lettering design.
What is Fontathon? It's a sprint-like design event held over 36 hours that focuses on a typeface or lettering project. Some like to use the time to start on a new project, others use it as motivation to continue working on an existing one. Whatever route you choose, you’re welcome to participate!

This is a project which made the creation of variable gradient fonts accessible to everyday designers. Learn a basic intro of Colour Font formats, and hear Sophia share her experiences working on Foldit, one of the first fonts in the newest Colrv1 format. It's a colour font, it's a variable font, and it has gradients.
