I love starting a new crochet project. Always so much more interesting than any of the ones already in progress. This one is for Marilyn, or Mean Fat Old Bat, as she was known in our blogging years.
Juno has forgiven (or forgotten, hard to tell with cats) that I took her to the vet for indignities four days ago. She has deigned to join me on the bed. She wishes you all a good #Caturday#CatsOfMastodon
Persephone's x-rays looked good to the vet (still scary for me, but I'm not the professional). So she has been released from captivity. Her joy as she runs around the house, rediscovering her favorite spots and reveling in her freedom, is pretty adorable. Also hard to capture, but here's one photo of her reclaiming her high perch.
Almost 8 weeks since Persephone broke a bone in her foot. (Her sister Maia sleeps near her crate; they hate being separated.) New x-rays tomorrow to see if we can release her from confinement. Fingers crosssed!!
Persephone has discovered that her leash just stretches to the bed by the fireplace. “Please let me stay here, Mom! I won’t move!” Meanwhile Maia is sitting where she thinks her patch of sunlight should be, miffed. Clouds are my fault, it seems. #Caturday
