Sadly we had to say goodbye to our big guy Niles. We had taken him and his brother Jack in six years ago as adults. For the past two years he’s been responding well to treatment for small cell lymphoma, but recently the cancer spread to his bones.

He was the friendliest cat I’ve known — always ready for a belly rub and cuddles. He will be deeply missed.

I was watching the Packers Lions game “live” on NFL Network when they broadcast it at 9:15 because the *actual* live broadcast earlier was on Prime and didn’t get recorded.

Thanks a fucking lot, NFL Network.

I was psyched back when I learned the Music app on iOS was going to get crossfade like has been available on Apple Music on Android for some time.

I was less psyched today to learn that it’s NOT the same. You don’t get the intelligent levels-based fade, but instead just the useless fixed-length fade like a 20 year-old copy of iTunes. And for an additional kick to the crotch, it doesn’t work with AirPlay.
