Experts have praised the scheme, saying that a deft combination of incentives and peer education make it more likely to succeed than other, comparable initiatives.

The problem with work visa programs is that they are usually built in such a way that the immigrant employee is locked into a given employer. Lose the job – get deported, more or less.

EV sales are up 20.8 per cent in the first four months of 2026 compared to the same time in 2025. For cost-conscious car shoppers, industry analysts say sky-high gas prices and revived government incentives are making zero-emission vehicles a more attractive option.
