4/This is the first part of a multi-part deep dive into the network around Epstein and SFI. And while SFI has produced otherwise interesting work, there are also aspects that have led to unexpected outcomes. In short, it's 'complex,' and we've been blinded by prurient, monotonous coverage that primarily benefits Russia.
3/And we exclusively report that SFI was cited in Project Russia, the Kremlin's plan for undermining the West which had not been previously translated into English. Whatever Epstein and the Maxwells (Robert, Ghislaine, and Christine) believed they were doing with SFI, the Kremlin believed that SFI was waging societal warfare.
2/Epstein was introduced to Murray Gell-Mann by Ghislaine Maxwell; he had been close to Robert Maxwell, who supported Gell-Mann's Santa Fe Institute. In 1990, Maxwell donated $100,000 to SFI to catalyze its shift into economics and 'complexity', away from hard sciences.
1/EXCLUSIVE: Was Jeffrey Epstein part of Russia's broader war on the West? In our new multi-part investigation into Epstein's influence activities, we examine new evidence that suggests his work in Santa Fe was likely more strategic than previously known.

An astonishing thing happened yesterday at the Justice Department, one that surpassed even the biggest firing scandal of the Nixon era. The Department and its leaders are reeling, and the political repercussions are now rippling out. The Thursday Afternoon Massacre

A brave U.S. Attorney stood up for the rule of law, and it was a shot heard across the land.

It is a grave mistake to compare Musk to Hitler. Hitler, famously, never had access to nuclear weapons.
A good practice right now, and I will have trouble doing it but am sure going to try, is to withhold reactions to provocations as long as possible. Allow time for the frontal cortex to engage rather than just letting the amygdala react without reflection.

“The Nazi regime created a framework that encouraged its followers, especially during the war, to commit acts that would have been unimaginable in other circumstances. The regime first dehumanized whole categories of people, including the mentally ill and handicapped, Slavs, Gypsies, petty criminals, the ‘asocial’ and the ‘work-shy,’ and above all, of course, Jews, then placed at the disposal of its followers means of violence normally beyond the reach of most people."
