Electric vehicles are a lot cheaper in the maintenance and the German car companies just don't want to loose this profitable market. That's one of the core reasons why they hesitated developing full electric models. And they still scream and bite to turn the clock in Brussels back. They will never give in. Even when combustion car drivers can't get gasoline outside Germany. Think about that before buying a German brand.
