@lukasrotermund I mean, it's not like you would look through every line of JS of a website you visit, right? I don't see an issue in at least accepting it on websites you trust.

@ironicbadger Personally I prefer your previous style. Colored box, text, the context you want to show or a normal looking face. Beside yourself on the thumbnail, it was easy to distinguish. Now it looks like most of my suggested videos / frontpage.

Maybe it's just me. Was just wondering why this style pops up in so many places right now

@ironicbadger hey Alex, what's up with the YouTube thumbnails lately? Is there some sort of new tool to style them easily, or is the algorithm preferring white / yellow bold text? Or is it just coincidence that I see similar looking thumbnails with big two colored texts for the past few weeks?

Just asking specifically because of your Plex Pass pricing update video

Got myself a new, rather special H-Alpha telescope for solar photography: an Acuter Elite Phoenix 40. Still playing around with the proper settings, but I really like it so far.

This is yesterday's sun at around noon.

Spring is approaching, and targets visible from my south-facing balcony are about to disappear for the next few months.

One thing that is always there, though, is our Sun. Setting up my telescope takes longer than taking the actual pictures, which is nice.

@cthon1c At least there are multiple people who saw it

You could check some of the AllSky cameras in the area. Usually they create a timelapse video of the past 24h which can be viewed a day later.

It doesn't provide any configuration UI, but should provide anything you need. In case you're interested, I've written down my local setup using blocky and also how I run Kea as my DHCP server

And yes, it has some annoying red color-gradient that does not belong there.
@markus Verwende Mona. Synct die Position der Timeline über alle Geräte und kostet nur einen Bruchteil von dem, was Ivory kostet.
